Double Digits

We are finally in the double digits of the countdown until the wedding!  I cannot even believe how quickly time has gone by.  Each day we are seeing the grace of God as he's pulling us more and more together in love and strength as one.  Last night was our pre-marital counseling and it has been really awesome to speak with a couple with such a strong faith base that's been married for 20+ years.  You can just feel how much they respect, love and value each other.  We are truly enjoying their mentoring!!  Can't wait for more! 

So going back to the strength part of us growing...we, as most of you know, have been down to one car since September.  Well it just so happens that my car (Big Red) decided she was exhausted and died on Saturday!  Bummer, huh?  Darn those transmissions.  Cars are such a necessary evil I tell you!  Thankfully we had support from my Mom & Dad and my Aunt Cindy.  We are very fortunate to have family that lives very close to us and were so willing to help us.  They were VERY instrumental in helping us out with transporting us, helping us look for a car and of course telling us everything is going to work out.  The silver lining in this is we were able to take on the challenge together and........buy a car!  Woo-Hoo!  It's an Acura MDX and for both of us it's just an amazing blessing.  Yes, the new car is a girl too and she's named Black Beauty.  LOL!  I'm such a dork I know but my Dad thought of the name and I liked it.  She's a pretty one.
